Created in Taiwan, this short series approaches Jiufen as a space of projection : a place where collective imagination, nocturnal tourism and real solitude converge.

The red glow of lanterns, rain and mist transform the narrow streets into an unstable setting, oscillating between folklore and interiority.

The images explore the boundary between lived experience and reconstructed memory, making Jiufen less a precise location than a mental landscape.
